Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 05/04/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - OR Job Details: • Work day shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM • Weekend requirement: Yes • On-call requirement: Yes • Floating requirement to other locations: Yes • Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license required • BLS Certification required via AHA • ACLS Certification required via AHA • Coordinate and implement patient care specific to age of patient population served • Ensure quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner • Demonstrate performance consistent with unit standards of care • Maintain current knowledge and skills appropriate to patient population served • Communicate clearly and appropriately to developmental age of patients • Handle emergency/crisis situations with prolonged standing and walking • Perform heavy physical effort to position, push and transfer patients or equipment • Work requires considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling and crouching • Must have manual dexterity and fine motor coordination • Work in bloodborne pathogen environment with exposure to infectious diseases and x-rays Facility: This regional medical center provides comprehensive healthcare services with a focus on patient care excellence and safety.
