Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Albuquerque, New
Mexico. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency
Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/29/2026 - Duration: 13
weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, evenings - Employment
Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ED Job Details: • Work 12-hour mid
shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM • Must successfully pass a BCA
(Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia) test administered onsite before starting
assignment • One opportunity to retest if initial test is failed;
second failure results in contract cancellation • Floating between
departments and local locations within 20 miles is required • 2
years current experience in large emergency department required •
Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel
assignment • Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to
fast-paced environment • Provide direct patient care using nursing
process including assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation,
and documentation • Coordinate patient care through collaboration
with patients, families, and healthcare team • Administer
medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians or standard
protocols • Assume clinical supervision responsibilities for LPNs
and non-licensed assistive personnel • Complete patient
population/age-specific/procedure and protocol education and
competency testing • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and
NIHSS (BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be through American Heart
Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross) •
New Mexico nursing license or Compact State nursing license
required • Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of
Science in Nursing (ASN) required • Epic experience preferred but
