Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM Experience: • 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 10 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 10 months within the past 12 months. • Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months. Requirements: • Candidates must have a New Mexico license or compact license (required for submission). • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted. • COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted. • Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted. • No current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Ardent Health. Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Additional Details: Required Skills/Experience: Lovelace Health System does expect that RN’s can start their own IV’s. CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident). Colostomy/ileostomy management/care. Feeding tube care and management. Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management. Renal failure. Blood Product Administration. Central line blood draw. Peripheral Line Care/Management. Phlebotomy. PICC line management. Starting and maintaining IVs. Heparin. Insulin. PCA. Surgical drains. Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac. High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC). Nasal Cannula. Non-invasive airway management. Oral suctioning. Oxygen administration. Oxygen tanks. Isolation Precautions/PPE. Wound Care/Wound Vac. Required Credentials: You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. All positions at Lovelace Health Facilities require New Mexico fingerprinting to be completed before their start date. This means fingerprint results will need to be obtained before the facility compliance deadline. Failure to fully complete the fingerprint requirement within three business days of accepting an assignment at Lovelace may lead to delayed results from the New Mexico DOH. In the event results are delayed, the facility may choose to push the clinician’s start date until results are in. Special Requests: RTO must be listed at time of submittal. Max of 4 days RTO can be auto approved. One pre-approved time off per contract. Shift & Scheduling: No call. 6 weekend shifts within 6 weeks. 48 hours straight time is allowed. Floating Requirements: Floating to like units. Travelers will be expected to float to like units within their scope, as needed based on facility needs. Travelers will receive brief orientation on the unit. 36 or 48 hour option. Required Skills/Experience: Neurological/Psychiatric, Med/Surg, Gastrointestinal, Genitourinary/Renal, IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Medications, Plastics, Respiratory Preferred Skills/Experience: CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident) Required Credentials: Drivers License/State ID required. BLS: AHA, ARC, RQI, or American Safety and Health Institute. Details: • AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
