Position Job Title: Anesthesia Tech Profession: Anesthesia Tech
Specialty: Certified Duration: 12 Months Shift: Day Call and
Weekend Call Hours per Shift: 10 Hours Experience: Minimum 1-2
years preferred in Recovery Room, ICU, Emergency Room, Operating
Room, Med/Surg, Pharmacy, or Bio-Med setting. License: BLS
Certification required Certifications: ASATT certification within
five years required Must-Have: - High School diploma or GED -
Ability to effectively interact with customers to understand their
needs and explain data - Proficiency in Microsoft Office -
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in person and via
telephone with various stakeholders using strong dialogue and
customer service competencies - Strong written communication skills
Description: Under general direction, provides assistance to the
anesthesiologists and CRNAs during the pre, intra, and
post-operative care of patients receiving anesthesia. Responsible
for providing supplies and equipment for anesthesia delivery in all
anesthetizing areas. Ensures cleaning and replacement of supplies
and equipment between operative cases. Delivers supplies and
equipment to each anesthetizing location in proper working order.
Floating between departments and/or local locations within 20 miles
is required. Essential duties include planning and coordinating
organizational change. Anticipating and addressing customer needs
is critical. Educating employees and customers and transferring
knowledge is expected. Functions effectively as a team member.
Acquires and applies superior skills to achieve quality outcomes.
