Pay: $1,500 to $1,700 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/16/2026 About the Position Job description: Job Overview: Job title: Certified Anesthesia Technician Location: Santa Fe, NM Start Date: ASAP (Projected March 9, 2026) Contract Length: 13 weeks with possible extension Shift: Day shift, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Hours per week: 40 Job Summary: We are seeking a Certified Anesthesia Technician to support anesthesia providers in the operating room and other clinical areas. The technician will ensure safe and efficient patient care through equipment preparation, intraoperative support, postoperative duties, and emergency response. Responsibilities: Prepare and test anesthesia machines, ventilators, monitors, and infusion pumps Assist with intubation, extubation, and airway management during surgeries Support anesthesiologists and CRNAs with intraoperative monitoring and medication preparation Clean, disinfect, and restock anesthesia equipment post-procedure Respond to emergencies such as cardiac arrest or respiratory distress with rapid supply and support Manage anesthesia gas machines, monitoring systems, and sterile field protocols Maintain anesthesia supply carts and emergency carts across ORs and mobile sites Provide pediatric anesthesia support with specialized equipment and techniques Document equipment usage, maintenance, and stock levels Requirements Requirements: Certification as an Anesthesia Technician required BLS/ACLS certification via AHA preferred Minimum 1 year of experience in anesthesia support Strong technical knowledge of anesthesia equipment and sterile techniques Excellent organizational and communication skills
