Job Description Job Description Physician Position Summary
Provide outpatient medical services and treatments to patients
within the scope of professional training, experience, ability, and
licensure. Examine patients, obtain and document medical histories,
diagnose conditions, and administer, prescribe, and order
appropriate medical services, treatments, evaluations, and
procedures. Provide medical advice, guidance, and education to
patients and maintain accurate medical documentation. Duties and
Responsibilities Provide comprehensive primary and preventive
medical care to new and established patients across the lifespan
Perform physical examinations and order appropriate diagnostic and
laboratory tests Interpret examination findings and test results to
develop and implement individualized treatment plans Obtain and
review patient medical histories through interviews with patients
and family members Deliver patient education related to health
promotion, disease prevention, and chronic disease management
Support patient self?management and behavior modification
strategies Determine the need for consultation or referral and
coordinate care with specialists or inpatient services as needed
Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical and non?clinical teams
to deliver high?quality outpatient care Integrate medical,
behavioral health, and wellness services as appropriate Participate
in clinical quality improvement initiatives, peer review
activities, and accreditation processes Complete timely and
accurate documentation using Electronic Health Records (EHR)
Utilize standing orders and evidence?based practices to support
team?based care Supervise and provide clinical instruction to
advanced practice providers, residents, and medical students as
applicable Participate in team meetings, data collection, outcomes
reporting, clinical audits, and program evaluations Serve on a
rotating on?call schedule for after?hours patient support Provide
cross?coverage for other clinicians as needed Adhere to established
organizational policies, procedures, and clinical standards
Participate in community outreach activities such as health fairs
and educational events, as appropriate Qualifications Medical
Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree Current,
valid, and unrestricted medical license in the practicing state
Active and unrestricted DEA license Board Certification required
Knowledge of family medicine, general internal medicine, or
pediatrics principles and practices Knowledge of local, state, and
federal healthcare regulations Strong written documentation and
communication skills Ability to work effectively with individuals
from diverse cultural, professional, and experiential backgrounds
Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team environment
English language proficiency required Proficiency in additional
languages (e.g., Mandarin, Cantonese, Spanish, Vietnamese)
