Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 12 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - Med Surg /n/n Job Details: /n • Provide direct patient care using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient needs /n• Ensure safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable care of patients /n• Coordinate patient care through collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare team /n• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians or standard protocols /n• Identify and meet patient and family learning and discharge needs throughout care episode /n• Provide clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel /n• Complete patient population/age-specific/procedure and protocol education and competency testing /n• Floating between departments and local locations within 20 miles is required /n• Must be a team player, flexible, and comfortable in fast-paced environment /n• At least one 13-week previous travel assignment required /n• Two years current experience required in specialty /n• EPIC experience preferred (training available on-site) /n• Required education: Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) /n• Required certifications: State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License, BLS certification through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility provides comprehensive medical and surgical services to the community, featuring modern patient care units equipped to handle diverse medical conditions.
