Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Albuquerque, New
Mexico, 87106! Job Title: Surgical Registered Nurse Profession:
Nursing Specialty: Surgical Duration: 14 weeks Shift: 1900-0730
Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Two years current experience in
specialty; at least one 13-week previous travel assignment required
License: State Nursing License (New Mexico or Compact State)
Certifications: BLS certification from American Heart Association,
American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross Must-Have: Must
be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to a fast-paced
environment. Description: Floating between departments and local
locations within 20 miles is required. Utilizes the nursing process
to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients
during a shift. Ensures safe, effective, patient-centered, timely,
efficient, and equitable care of patients. Provides direct patient
care by assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and
documenting individual patient needs, actions taken, and patient
responses. Coordinates patient care through collaboration with the
patient/family and healthcare team. Initiates, utilizes, and
documents appropriate protocols and standards of care. Administers
medication and treatments as prescribed by a physician or standard
protocols and documents according to policy. Identifies and meets
patient and family learning and discharge needs on admission and
throughout the episode of care. Assumes responsibility for the
clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel.
Completes patient population/age-specific/procedure and protocol
education and competency testing per unit standards. EPIC
