working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Rio
Rancho, New Mexico, 87124! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession:

current experience in large emergency department License: State
Nursing License or Compact State Nursing License Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS Must-Have: Selected candidates must
successfully pass a Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia (BCA) test. Candidates
will not be able to start an assignment until they have passed this
onsite administered test. If candidates fail, they will have one
opportunity to re-test. A second failure will result in contract
cancellation and all applicable fees will be enforced. Floating
between departments and local locations within a specified radius
is required. Description: Utilizes the nursing process to provide
direct patient care to an assigned group of patients during a
shift. Ensures safe, effective, patient-centered, timely,
efficient, and equitable care of patients. Provides direct patient
care by assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and
documenting individual patient needs, actions taken, and patient
responses. Coordinates patient care through collaboration with the
patient, family, and healthcare team. Initiates, utilizes, and
documents appropriate protocols and standards of care. Administers
medication and treatments as prescribed by physician or standard
protocols and documents according to policy. Identifies and meets
patient and family learning and discharge needs on admission and
throughout the episode of care. Assumes responsibility for the
clinical supervision of licensed practical nurses and non-licensed
assistive personnel. Completes patient
population/age-specific/procedure and protocol education and
competency testing per unit standards. Must be a team player,
flexible, and accustomed to fast-paced environments. Must have
successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.
Preferred experience with electronic medical records systems is a
