Registered Nurse (RN) | Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Pre-Post Op Location: Espanola, NM Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,515 per week Shift Information: Rotating - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 11 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: PACU Duration: 11 weeks Shift: 10 Hour Days Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Two (2) years current experience required in specialty; at least one 13-week previous travel assignment. License: State Nursing License or Compact State Nursing License. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification completed through recognized organizations. Must-Have: Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to a fast-paced environment. Travelers must pass the basic cardiac arrhythmias (BCA) testing during the first week of the assignment. Description: Utilizes the nursing process to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients during a shift. Ensures safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable care of patients. Provides direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting individual patient needs, actions taken, and patient responses. Coordinates patient care through collaboration with the patient/family and healthcare team. Initiates, utilizes, and documents appropriate protocols and standards of care. Administers medication and treatments as prescribed by the physician or standard protocols and documents according to policy. Identifies and meets patient and family learning and discharge needs on admission and throughout the episode of care. Assumes responsibility for the clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel. Completes patient population/age-specific/procedure and protocol education and competency testing per unit standards. Floating between departments and local locations within a specified distance is required. Rotating weeknight and weekend shifts are required with a 30-minute call-back response time.
