Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/02/2026 - Duration: 15 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with at least two years of large OR experience and a NM or compact RN license for a day shift position with call responsibilities. Responsibilities - Work in a hospital operating room setting - Day shift, 4x10 hour shifts per week - On call and call back as needed, with weekend coverage as needed - Floating between departments or local locations within 20 miles is required - Direct surgical patient care including scrub duties - Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment - Ortho, EENT, and vascular surgery experience is a plus - No local candidates permitted; must live at least 50 miles from the facility - Returning staff must wait one year before being considered as a traveler - Pass/fail testing may be administered during orientation - Responsible for collaborating with healthcare team to ensure safe and effective patient care Requirements - Active NM or compact RN license required - Current BLS certification required through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross - Minimum two years of current large OR experience required - Must have completed at least one prior 13-week travel assignment - Ability to scrub required - Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required - PALS and ACLS certification preferred - Epic EMR experience preferred but not required Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-663926.
