ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Socorro, New Mexico. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/02/2026 - Duration: 15 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - OR Job Details: • Work 1.0 FTE 4x10 day shift schedule • On-call and call back responsibilities as needed • Weekend work as needed • Floating between departments and/or local locations within 20 miles required • Utilize nursing process to provide direct patient care to assigned patients • Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document individual patient needs and responses • Coordinate patient care through collaboration with patient/family and healthcare team • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physician or standard protocols • Identify and meet patient and family learning and discharge needs • Provide clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel • Must be able to scrub in operating room procedures • Minimum 2 years current experience in large OR required • Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment • Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required • New Mexico or Compact State nursing license required • BLS certification required through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross • ACLS and PALS preferred • Epic experience preferred but not required - training provided on-site • Ortho, EENT, and/or vascular experience a plus • Must be team player, flexible, and comfortable in fast-paced environment Facility: This healthcare organization is a comprehensive health system providing advanced medical services including surgical care through modern operating room facilities.
