ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Socorro, New Mexico. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 14 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Op RN Job Details: • Work 1.0 FTE Day shift with on-call and weekends as needed • Float between departments and local locations within 20 miles as required • Utilize nursing process to provide direct patient care to assigned group of patients • Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document individual patient needs and responses • Coordinate patient care through collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare team • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physician or standard protocols • Identify and meet patient and family learning and discharge needs throughout care episode • Provide clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel • Complete patient population/age-specific/procedure and protocol education and competency testing • Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to fast-paced environment • At least one 13-week previous travel assignment required • Two years current experience required in small PACU with Pre-Op experience • EPIC experience preferred (training available on-site) • Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required • New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License required • Required certifications: BLS and ACLS through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross Facility: This healthcare organization is a comprehensive health system dedicated to providing safe, effective, patient-centered care across multiple departments and locations.
