Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a valid NM or compact license for night shifts and floating requirements. Responsibilities - Position is in the ICU unit within a hospital setting - Night shifts with a 3x12 hour schedule from 18:30 to 07:00 - Option of working either 36 or 48 hours per week - ICU nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:2 - Weekend work is required - Floating is required to similar units based on facility needs - Epic charting is preferred - Travelers will receive brief unit orientation and complete required modules onsite during orientation - Maximum of 3 days of requested time off will be auto-approved; no time off allowed during the first week of orientation - Former permanent staff must have a 1-year separation before returning as a traveler - No travel pairs or groups will be accepted Requirements - Active NM or compact RN license required at time of consideration - Minimum of 1 year recent ICU experience required; 1-2 years preferred - First-time travelers are welcome to apply - Locals within a 50-mile radius are not eligible Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-665866.
