Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 48 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a critical care ICU night shift with a NM or Compact RN license and ICU experience. Responsibilities - Work in an ICU within a hospital setting - Night shift schedule, typically four 12-hour shifts from 18:30 to 07:00 - Option for either 36 or 48 hours per week - Patient ratios are 1:2 - Floating required to similar units as needed - Weekend shifts are required - First-time travelers are welcome to apply - Travelers will receive a brief onsite orientation to the unit and must complete orientation modules - No travel pairs or groups are accepted for this position - No more than 3 days of requested time off will be automatically approved, and no time off is allowed during the first week of orientation Requirements - Active NM or Compact RN license required at time of consideration - At least 1 year of recent ICU RN experience required; 1-2 years preferred - EPIC charting experience preferred - Locals within a 50-mile radius are not eligible - Former permanent staff must have at least a 1-year separation before taking a travel role Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-665876.
