An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with Operating Room experience to support surgical care in two neighboring medical facilities located in Albuquerque, NM. This contract position offers a dynamic work environment where you will play a critical role in patient outcomes during surgical procedures. Key Responsibilities: - Provide perioperative nursing care in the operating room, ensuring patient safety and comfort. - Collaborate with surgical teams to prepare the OR and assist during procedures. - Adhere to strict infection control and safety protocols. - Flexibly float between two nearby hospital campuses to meet staffing needs. - Participate in on-call rotations, covering 4-5 shifts every six weeks, including weekends. Preferred Qualifications: - Current RN licensure with at least 1-2 years of Operating Room nursing experience; 1-year experience considered. - BLS certification is required. - Previous travel nursing experience is preferred but not mandatory. - Ability to work day shifts in a schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. - Comfortable with float assignments between neighboring hospital campuses. Work Schedule: - Four 10-hour day shifts (06:30 AM - 5:00 PM) per week. - On-call for 4 to 5 shifts every six weeks, including weekend shifts.
