We are seeking experienced General Medicine Physicians to provide essential Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments nationwide. Required Skills: Valid Medical License in New Mexico Board Certification or Eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Experience with Compensation & Pension exams or familiarity with Veteran health assessments Strong interview and physical assessment skills, including range of motion and muscle strength testing Ability to work independently within own office location within a 50-mile radius of designated NM cities Excellent organizational skills for administrative follow-up and report submission Nice to Have Skills: Prior experience with military or veteran healthcare Knowledge of VA or government-related medical procedures Additional certifications in occupational or general medicine Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in family or internal medicine Experience in performing compensation and pension evaluations highly desirable Other Requirements: Own office setup within a 50-mile radius of Silver City, Deming, Hobbs, or Grants, NM Willingness to perform exams at multiple locations as specified No travel reimbursement beyond rates included in compensation Compliance with all applicable licensure, certification, and training requirements Immediate availability starting February 2, 2026 Ability to perform 4-hour (half-day) or 8-hour (full-day) shifts as needed Local candidates only; travel included in rates This role offers a competitive flat-rate structure: $800 for half-day shifts (4 hours or less), $1,600 for full-day shifts (5 or more hours), plus a one-time bonus of $650 upon completing initial training and first exams.
