Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Albuquerque, NM Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,378 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/15/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 0645-1915 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Two years current experience required in large Emergency Department; must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment. License: State Nursing License or Compact State Nursing License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required. Must-Have: Selected candidates must successfully pass a Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia (BCA) test. Candidates will not be able to start an assignment until they have passed this onsite administered test. Should they fail, candidates will have one opportunity to re-test; a second failure will result in contract cancellation and all applicable fees will be enforced. Description: Utilizes the nursing process to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients during a shift. Ensures safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable care of patients. Provides direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting individual patient needs, actions taken, and patient responses. Coordinates patient care through collaboration with the patient and healthcare team. Initiates, utilizes, and documents appropriate protocols and standards of care. Administers medication and treatments as prescribed by the physician or standard protocols and documents according to policy. Identifies and meets patient and family learning and discharge needs on admission and throughout the episode of care. Assumes responsibility for the clinical supervision of licensed practical nurses and non-licensed assistive personnel. Completes patient population, age-specific, procedure, and protocol education and competency testing per unit standards. Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to a fast-paced environment.
