Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. Seeking a skilled
Occupational Therapist to provide dedicated support to elementary
and middle school students in a part-time (.8) contract position.
This role involves working on-site at a vibrant school in Tijeras,
NM, focused on delivering tailored occupational therapy services
that foster student development and success. Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to an estimated
caseload of 30-35 students spanning elementary and middle school
levels. Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned
with student needs. Collaborate with educators and support staff to
integrate therapy goals within the educational setting. Maintain
accurate documentation and adhere to all licensing and school
guidelines. Participate actively in team meetings and professional
development opportunities. Qualifications and Experience: Valid or
ability to obtain New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department
(RLD) Occupational Therapist license. Valid or ability to obtain
New Mexico Public Education Department (NMPED) license. Experience
working within school settings is strongly preferred. Comfortable
working on-site with in-person students; virtual options are not
supported. Familiarity with pediatric occupational therapy
practices, especially within a 1:1 or small group framework, is
advantageous. Position Details: Part-time (30 hours per week).
Contract duration: Current school year. Location: Tijeras, NM.
Caseload of approximately 30-35 students. Benefits: Full benefits
