Job Description Job Description Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This exciting opportunity is for a Registered Nurse with expertise in the Operating Room, located in Los Lunas, NM. This contract position offers a chance to work in a dynamic healthcare setting supporting multiple neighboring facilities. Candidates with 2 years of OR experience are preferred, but those with 1 year or previous travel OR experience are encouraged to apply. Scrubs are provided, and BLS certification is required. Schedule: Day shift, 4 days a week, 10-hour shifts (06:30 - 17:00) Call required 4-5 shifts per 6 weeks, including weekends Float between two neighboring hospitals within the network Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room Assist surgical teams during procedures ensuring patient safety Monitor patients condition pre-, intra-, and post-operatively Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes Follow established protocols and adhere to all safety standards Qualifications and Experience: Current RN license with OR specialty Minimum 1-2 years of Operating Room experience; travel experience preferred but not mandatory BLS certification mandatory Flexibility for call shifts and floating between facilities Strong communication and teamwork skills About Los Lunas, NM:Los Lunas is a vibrant community located in the heart of New Mexico, offering a balance of small-town charm with access to nearby urban amenities.
