Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Albuquerque, NM Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,468 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Critical Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 Hour Nights Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Two years current experience in a 12-plus bed cardiac critical care and/or intensive care unit. License: Valid Nursing License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment. Description: Utilizes the nursing process to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients during a shift. Ensures safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable care of patients. Provides direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting individual patient needs, actions taken, and patient responses. Coordinates patient care through collaboration with the patient/family and healthcare team. Initiates, utilizes, and documents appropriate protocols and standards of care. Administers medication and treatments as prescribed by the physician or standard protocols and documents according to policy. Identifies and meets patient and family learning and discharge needs on admission and throughout the episode of care. Assumes responsibility for the clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel. Completes patient population/age-specific/procedure and protocol education and competency testing per unit standards. Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to a fast-paced environment. Open heart, LVAD, and balloon pump experience preferred. Experience with EPIC preferred, but training can be provided on-site. BLS and ACLS must be completed through an accredited provider. Traveler must pass basic cardiac arrhythmia testing during the first week of assignment. Travelers who do not pass the basic cardiac arrhythmia test will be dismissed.
