Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location: Los Alamos, NM Agency: Pioneer Healthcare Services Pay: $1,980 to $2,042 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Pioneer Healthcare Services to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Los Alamos, New Mexico, 87544! Responsibilities: Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs, contractions, and labor progress, assessing any complications and providing appropriate interventions during labor and delivery. Support women through the stages of labor, assist in birthing procedures, and collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and anesthesiologists to manage deliveries, including assisting with vaginal births or cesarean sections. Administer pain relief options, such as epidurals, IV medications, or other comfort measures, and assist with pain management during labor and delivery. Provide care to both mother and newborn immediately following delivery, including assessing recovery, promoting bonding, providing breastfeeding support, and educating parents about newborn care and recovery.
