Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to provide services within a K-12 school setting in Albuquerque, NM. This full-time contract position runs through the current school year until May 29, 2026, with an immediate start date. Responsibilities: Deliver direct and indirect occupational therapy services across multiple school sites, including two elementary schools and one high school. Serve an itinerant caseload with approximately 11-12 students per elementary school and 17-18 students at the high school. Support an off-campus Autism-focused district program by providing specialized therapy services. Consult with teachers and school staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into the classroom environment. Maintain thorough documentation and comply with all regulatory and program guidelines. Qualifications and Experience: Valid Occupational Therapy license in New Mexico. Experience working in school-based settings preferred. Ability to manage a diverse caseload across multiple locations. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with educators and families. Demonstrated knowledge of therapeutic interventions for students with a variety of needs, including autism spectrum disorders.
