Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Albuquerque, NM Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,338 per week Shift Information: Nights - 4 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 1 year minimum experience License: Valid RN license required Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Charge experience - Patient ratio experience: 6 Description: The position is for a Medical Surgical nurse working night shifts. The unit welcomes first-time travelers. Float to like units may be required based on facility needs. Weekends as needed. Patient diagnoses include stroke patients as well as surgical patients. Telemetry central monitoring is available 24/7; interpreting dysrhythmias is not required. Candidates should possess skills such as blood product administration, colostomy care, and management, and CPAP/BiPAP management. Other relevant skills include peripheral line care, telemetry, and wound care. The average daily census is approximately 30 patients. The patient age groups include adults and geriatrics. The facility provides interdisciplinary support, including physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. Travelers will receive a brief orientation on the unit. Modules are part of the orientation process. All applicants should be aware of floating requirements as necessary.
