Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Albuquerque, NM Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,378 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 Hour Nights Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: - Two years of current experience required in a large Emergency Department. - Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment. License: - State Nursing License or Compact State Nursing License. Certifications: - BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required. - BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be completed through recognized certifying organizations. Must-Have: - Selected candidates must successfully pass a Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia (BCA) test. - Candidates will not be able to start an assignment until they have passed this onsite administered test. - Floating between departments and local locations within 20 miles is required. Description: - Utilizes the nursing process to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients during a shift. - Ensures safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable care of patients. - Provides direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting individual patient needs, actions taken, and patient responses. - Coordinates patient care through collaboration with the patient/family and healthcare team. - Initiates, utilizes, and documents appropriate protocols and standards of care. - Administers medication and treatments as prescribed by physician or standard protocols and documents according to policy. - Identifies and meets patient and family learning and discharge needs on admission and throughout the episode of care. - Assumes responsibility for the clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel. - Completes patient population-specific education and competency testing per unit standards. - Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to a fast-paced environment.
