Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and implement nursing care tailored to patient age and condition. Maintain quality and safety standards consistent with unit policies. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Demonstrate professional behavior aligning with organizational mission and goals. Respond efficiently to emergencies and unexpected schedule changes. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program. Current New Mexico RN license or an active Compact state license. Certifications required upon hire and maintained thereafter: BLS, ACLS, PALS from AHA. Preferably TNCC or ATCN, CPI, or equivalent certifications. Proficiency in addressing bloodborne pathogen exposure and infection control. Ability to perform physical demands including patient transfers and emergency response. Strong communication skills appropriate to developmental age of patients. Schedule: Night Shift: 7 PM to 7 AM Work Environment and Physical Demands: Exposure to infectious diseases and medical imaging. Clean, well-lit, smoke-free workplace. Requires stamina for extensive standing, walking, and heavy lifting. Ability to perceive spatial relationships and color discernment.
