to find a qualified OR RN in Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87106! Job
Title: Operating Room Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: OR Duration:
13 weeks Shift: 0630-1700 Hours per Shift: 40.00 Experience:
Minimum two (2) years current experience in large operating room.
Experience in Neuro, Ortho, Transplants, Robotics, or Vascular
preferred. Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week
travel assignment. License: State Nursing License required.
Certifications: BLS required. ACLS and PALS preferred. Must-Have: -
Candidate must be able to scrub. - Must be a team player, flexible,
and accustomed to fast-paced environment. Description: Utilizes the
nursing process to provide direct patient care to an assigned group
of patients during a shift. Ensures safe, effective,
patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable care of
patients. Provides direct patient care by assessing, planning,
implementing, evaluating, and documenting individual patient needs,
actions taken, and patient responses. Coordinates patient care
through collaboration with the patient/family and healthcare team.
Initiates, utilizes, and documents appropriate protocols and
standards of care. Administers medication and treatments as
prescribed by physician or standard protocols and documents
according to policy. Identifies and meets patient and family
learning and discharge needs on admission and throughout the
episode of care. Assumes responsibility for the clinical
supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel. Completes
patient population/age-specific/procedure and protocol education
and competency testing per unit standards. Floating between
departments and/or local locations within 20 miles is required. 5
