Registered Nurse (RN) | Interventional Radiology Location: Albuquerque, NM Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,306 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Interventional Radiology RN in Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87106! Job Title: Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience required. License: Pending license accepted. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS required. Must-Have: COVID vaccination required - medical and religious exemptions accepted. No locals within a 75-mile radius. Willing to be on-call, including weekends. No first-time travelers accepted. Will not float within scope to meet facility needs. Pre-approved time off must be limited to 7 days or less unless otherwise approved. Description: This position requires a highly skilled registered nurse specializing in interventional radiology. The nurse will work in a fast-paced environment with a patient ratio of 1:1. Experience with trauma level I is required. The nurse will participate in advanced procedures such as angioplasty, embolization, and thoracentesis. They will monitor procedural sedation and manage the care of patients undergoing various interventional procedures. The successful candidate will be proficient in charting using the Cerner system. Additional skills required include placing central lines, managing IV pumps, and understanding radiation safety. This role requires strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams. The position also involves adhering to infection prevention and isolation precautions.
