Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Albuquerque, NM Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,234 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87106! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 year License: NM license can pend at time of submission Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Ability to start and maintain IVs - Experience in Telemetry - Willingness to float to other units within skillset Description: This position requires a registered nurse specializing in medical-surgical and telemetry. Travelers will float and it is an expectation to other units and lower acuity settings within skillset. It is expected to float to emergency department assignments where applicable. Patient ratios in the emergency department are 1:5. This facility operates at over 100% capacity. A minimum of 1 year of nursing experience is required. First-time travelers are accepted. Weekend shifts are required, with 2 per 4-week schedule; this may vary depending on unit needs. No local candidates will be accepted within a specified radius. COVID vaccination is required, with medical and religious exemptions accepted upon completion of the appropriate form. Candidates must meet the requirements for IV starts and have experience with telemetry monitoring. The ideal candidate will have experience interpreting and managing dysrhythmias and an understanding of critical patient care situations. Travelers will work primarily as the primary nursing staff with limited ancillary support. Interdisciplinary collaboration is expected, including support from respiratory services, and other medical professionals. Please ensure all documentation is completed as required prior to the start of the assignment.
