ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/06/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ER Job Details: • Work 36 or 48 hour shifts in Emergency Department • Patient ratios of 1:5 across all shifts • Weekend coverage required as needed (Saturday and Sunday days, Friday-Sunday nights) • Float to Pediatric ED is optional, floating to Adult PCUs is required based on staffing needs • Potential floating to ED Holding and Trauma units as needed • 2 years of experience required (will review 1.5 years with Level I Trauma experience) • Travel experience strongly preferred, first-timers considered with 2 years Level I experience • Level I trauma experience preferred, Level II trauma required • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC (must have TNCC before submission) • No on-call requirements • Guaranteed contracted hours per week with facility allowed 3 call-offs per 13-week assignment • Overtime must be pre-approved by client (approval is rare) • 24-hour orientation required • Approximately 60-80% of Emergency Department patients are admitted • Daily census 170-200 patients with 175 visits per day • 53 rooms and 68 beds in Emergency Department • Black scrubs required (not provided) • Charting system: Cerner • Medication administration including IV medications and bar code scanning • Care for patients with trauma, resuscitation needs, and emergency conditions • No locals within 75 miles accepted • New Mexico license can be pending at time of submission Facility: This healthcare organization operates as a Level I Trauma Center, Children's Hospital, and Teaching Hospital providing comprehensive acute care services.
