Shift: 12 Hour Nights (United States of America) Job Description:
Sign on and relocation bonuses available for qualified candidates .
Instructs patients regarding magnetic resonance imaging procedures;
prepares, positions, and manipulates patients to ensure appropriate
placement for imaging. Select appropriate imaging techniques, and
calibrate console and peripheral hardware, as required. Obtains
images, produces film records and backups from desk to storage
media, and transfers for desk to workstation. Inspects for quality
and completeness of exam. Performs quality assurance on magnetic
resonance equipment and laser camera. Performs physical inventories
and maintains clinical supplies. Provides instruction and guidance
in magnetic resonance imaging procedures and equipment/facilities
usage to staff and/or students in training. Ensures adherence to
established PHS/PMG and department policies and procedures,
objectives, quality assurance programs, safety standards, HIPAA,
and compliance regulations. May assist in research and/or clinical
subject scheduling. Maintains professional growth and development
through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep
abreast of the latest trends in the field of expertise.
Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required. Associate
Degree preferred. Magnetic Resonance Imaging MRT (New Mexico
licensure) required. American Registry Radiologic Technologists
R.T. (MR) (ARRT) Or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging
Technologist ARMRIT required. BLS Certification is required at the
time of hire. Registered Technologist Trainees/Apprentices: PMRT
(Provisional NM licensure) required. American Registry Radiologic
Technologists R.T. (R) (ARRT) required. Successful completion of
