Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1.5 years in PICU License: Current nursing license required Certifications: BLS, PALS Must-Have: CRRT and ECMO procedure experience Working knowledge of ventilators and inotropic drips Description: Looking for a Registered Nurse specialized in Pediatric Intensive Care. Candidates must have a minimum of 1.5 years of experience in PICU. The shift will be during the day, and shifts are 12 hours long. Candidates will be required to work 4 weekend shifts during the contract. Rotating shifts may be assigned, but will not rotate within a 4-week schedule. Travelers may float within the scope according to facility needs. They may be required to float to a NICU setting. Experience with respiratory distress, renal failure, and trauma patients is essential. A comprehensive understanding of various medical conditions and diagnoses in pediatrics is required. The position requires strong trauma skills, especially in a Level I facility. Restrictions include no locals within 75 miles. Candidates can submit with a pending license. Religious and medical exemptions for COVID vaccination are accepted with proper documentation.
