Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift
position requiring a current NM or compact RN license and recent
hospital experience. Responsibilities - Position is in a hospital
medical-surgical unit with 32 beds - Night shifts are scheduled as
4x12 hours from 18:30 to 7:00 - Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:6 -
Required to work 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week period - Floating
is required to similar units within scope as needed - Block
scheduling is considered on a case-by-case basis - Uses EPIC for
documentation; EPIC experience preferred - First-time travelers are
welcome to apply - No on-call requirements for this position -
Nurses are provided a brief orientation and must complete required
onsite modules during orientation - Scrub color is flexible but
must be free of hospital logos - No travel pairs or groups are
permitted - No more than 3 days of requested time off will be
auto-approved, and no time off is allowed during the first week of
orientation Requirements - Valid NM or compact RN license required
at the time of consideration - Minimum of 2 years recent Med/Surg
nursing experience required - Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
certification required - Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI)
certification preferred - EPIC charting experience preferred -
Former perm staff must have at least 1 year separation before
returning as a traveler - Local candidates within 50 miles are not
