iDEAL Hire is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 07/28/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days, nights Employment Type: Travel JOB SUMMARY Selected candidates MUST SUCCESSFULLY PASS a BCA (Basic Cardiac Arrythmia) test. Candidates will not be able to start an assignment until they have passed this onsite administered test. Should they fail, candidates will have one opportunity to re-test, a second failure will result in contract cancellation and all applicable fees will be enforced. Skills: Required Skills & Experience: -Two (2) years’ current experience required in an 18-plus bed telemetry/progressive care unit required. -Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to fast paced environment. -Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment. Preferred Skills & Experience: -Epic EMR experience preferred. Education: Required Education: -Associate's Degree in Nursing. Required Certifications & Licensure: -State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License. -BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required. -BLS and ACLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross. -Traveler must provide or pass a Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia/Dysrhythmia Assessment (BCA) exam prior to or during first week of assignment. Travelers that do not pass the BCA test will be dismissed. $2400 includes taxable hourly rate plus meals and lodging stipend.
