Job Title: Medical Surgical Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of experience required License: Valid RN license required Certifications: BLS required, CPI preferred Must-Have: Ability to float within scope, work weekends Description: This position is for a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse with night shifts. The nurse will be expected to work either 36 or 48 hours per week. First-time travelers are accepted for this role. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:6. Weekend shifts are required, with a minimum of 6 shifts in a 6-week period. Travelers will float to like units as needed based on facility requirements. No call duty is required for this position. Scrub color is flexible, provided there is no hospital logo. Documentation is done using EPIC. Modules for orientation will be billable and are completed onsite. The unit has a total of 32 beds. All travelers must be able to complete the essential duties of the role.
