Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: ER Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years (1.5 years with consideration) License: Pending license accepted Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: Level I Trauma experience preferred Description: This position involves working in the Emergency Department. The nurse will be responsible for medication administration, including IV medication. Clinical findings must be documented and communicated effectively. Approximately 60%-80% of patients will be admitted. Many rooms in the department will serve as holding areas. The nurse will be required to float to Adult Patient Care Units based on staffing needs. Weekend shifts may be scheduled as necessary, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. First-time travelers are welcome, but travel experience is strongly preferred. The facility requires compliance documentation to be submitted before start. COVID vaccination is required, with exemptions accepted upon completion of forms. Travelers are expected to have TNCC certification before submission. Orientation will consist of 8 hours of training. Travelers will be considered if they meet the minimum experience requirements. All requests for time off during the first week of the contract or on the last day are not allowed. It is encouraged to minimize requests for time off to expedite the offer process.
