Job Description:
TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a
qualified ER/Trauma RN in Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87102! Pay

Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12
Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years in Progressive/Acute ER required
License: Valid RN license required at time of submission
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Must-Have: First-time travelers
welcome with the required experience. Description: The position is
for an Emergency Room Registered Nurse working nights. The option
is available for either 36 or 48-hour workweeks. The Emergency Room
handles a variety of patient diagnoses including medical, surgical,
respiratory, gastroenterology, urology, cardiac, neurology, minor
trauma, obstetrics/gynecology, and integumentary issues. Initial
medical care for strokes, STEMIs, major trauma, and pediatrics is
provided prior to transfer. The ER may keep patients in the NICU
for less than 11 weeks. Special procedures performed in the unit
include chest tubes, thoracentesis, paracentesis, rapid sequence
intubation, splinting, procedural sedation, restraints, vacuum
D&C, central lines, and ultrasound-guided IVs. Special
equipment used includes rapid infusers, EZ IO, Lifepack 15 and 20,
GE monitors, GE EKG, and Glidescope. Emergency Department
physicians are available 24/7, along with two mid-level providers
during peak shifts. Day staffing includes charge nurses plus 2-3
additional nurses, a patient care technician, and mid-shift staff.
Scrub colors are flexible, with no logos permitted. Travelers may
be required to float to similar units as needed. Brief orientation
on the assigned unit will be provided. Modules are billable and
