qualified ER/Trauma RN in Socorro, New Mexico, 87801! Pay
Information $2,330 per week About The Position Job Title:
Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency
Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift:
12 hours Experience: Two years of current experience required in a
large emergency department. License: State Nursing License or
Compact State Nursing License. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and
NIHSS certifications required. Must-Have: - Must successfully pass
a Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia (BCA) test. - Must be a team player,
flexible, and accustomed to a fast-paced environment. - Must have
successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.
Description: Utilizes the nursing process to provide direct patient
care to an assigned group of patients during a shift. Ensures safe,
effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable care
of patients. Provides direct patient care by assessing, planning,
implementing, evaluating, and documenting individual patient needs,
actions taken, and patient responses. Coordinates patient care
through collaboration with the patient, family, and healthcare
team. Initiates, utilizes, and documents appropriate protocols and
standards of care. Administers medication and treatments as
prescribed by a physician or standard protocols and documents
according to policy. Identifies and meets patient and family
learning and discharge needs on admission and throughout the
episode of care. Assumes responsibility for the clinical
supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel. Completes
patient population, age-specific, procedure, and protocol education
