Surgical Technologist – 10 Hour Days | 40 Hours/Week | Rio Rancho, NM Location: Rio Rancho, NM Shift: 10-Hour Day Shifts Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week Job Summary Seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to assist surgeons by preparing and providing instruments and equipment during procedures. This role ensures a safe, effective, and well-coordinated Operating Room environment under the supervision of a surgeon. ? Essential Duties Maintain and prepare the sterile field and surgical instruments Accurately perform sponge, needle, and instrument counts Adhere to aseptic techniques and safety standards Prepare patient skin and assist with positioning during procedures Monitor and support patients throughout surgery Perform scrub tech duties and handle specimens properly Stay current on surgical equipment, procedures, and medications Maintain working knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and OR protocols Participate in continued education (seminars, workshops, publications) Follow all federal, state, and departmental safety regulations Required Skills & Experience 2 years of current experience in a large OR setting Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities Team-oriented, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment ?
