Requirements - Specialty:Correctional - Discipline:RN - Start
Date:07/05/2025 - Duration:13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift:12
hours, nights - Employment Type:Travel 1)RN Corrections job but
correctional experience is not required. (New Grads encouraged to
apply and experienced nurses welcome with open arms) 2) 1 year of
experience as a Registered Nurse required only. 3) weekly pay 4)
One hour away from State Capital which is Albuquerque, NM 5)
Torrance County Detention Facility 6) Facility Type: Multi-Security
Job Description: - Monitor inmate/resident hospitalizations for
early release eligibility. - Observe and document behavior. Inspect
and secure the medical unit, disposing of contraband risks. -
Escort or coordinate inmate/resident transport for medical care. -
Conduct searches for contraband on persons and objects. - Perform
security checks in confined areas and during shifts. De-escalate or
prevent disruptive situations. - Supervise and guide nursing and
non-licensed medical staff. - Collaborate with facility staff and
external providers. Follow policies and exercise sound judgment in
