Job Description HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse Correctional for a travel nursing job in Estancia, New Mexico. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Correctional - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 12 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Duties: • Plan and provide comprehensive nursing care, including executing Licensed Independent Provider's orders. • Dispense and administer medications as prescribed. • Assist Licensed Independent Providers during patient examinations and treatments. • Apply appropriate nursing and supervisory techniques in the care, treatment, and referrals of inmates/residents. • Perform all technical and clinical procedures within the scope of education and licensure. • Utilize nursing skills specific to the treatment of inmates/residents. • Refer inmates/residents to emergency rooms or other appropriate facilities based on their condition. • Perform emergency procedures as necessary and obtain treatment orders from the Licensed Independent Provider.
