Nightingale's List is seeking a CNA Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Long Term Care for a local contract job in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Long Term Care Discipline: CNA Duration: 9 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days, nights Employment Type: Local Contract Job Summary: We are currently seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team. The CNA will work closely with patients and nursing staff to deliver high-quality care and support to residents in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting. Key Responsibilities: Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure Report any changes in a patient’s physical or emotional condition to the nursing team Provide emotional support and companionship to patients Ensure patient rooms and common areas are clean and safe Assist with transporting patients between rooms, departments, or appointments Maintain accurate and timely documentation Follow infection control and safety procedures Qualifications: Active CNA license in the state of NEW MEXICO CPR/BLS certification preferred Previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus, but not required Strong communication and teamwork skills Compassionate, reliable, and attentive to detail Benefits: Competitive pay Flexible scheduling Opportunities for growth and training Supportive work environment Job Types: Part-time, Contract Pay: $20.07 - $23.14 per hour Physical Setting: Long-term care Rehabilitation center Supplemental Pay: Overtime pay License/Certification: CNA license in New Mexico and a BLS Certificate?
