travel job in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Job Description & Requirements
- Specialty: Pharmacist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional -
Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days -
Employment Type: Travel Travel: Oncology Staff Pharmacist
CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: Licensure or eligibility for licensure by
New Mexico Board of Pharmacy is required. BPS (Board of
Pharmaceutical Specialties in Oncology) certification or Pharmacist
Clinician certification preferred. Continuous education to maintain
licensure is required. NM Sterile Product Preparation Certification
is required. Safe Handling of Hazardous Medications course required
(or similar course approved by pharmacy director/manage.)
EDUCATION: Graduate of an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy, ASHP
residency preceptor status as soon as eligible. Bachelors of
Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy required. MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS: SKILLS: 1. Effective verbal and written
communication skills 2. Advanced mathematical skills required 3.
Keyboarding skills are preferred (must be able to develop
competence using hospital pharmacy software). Word processing
skills are preferred 4. Must have the ability to work with medical
staff, nursing staff and other healthcare employees 5. Knowledge of
USP 797 and USP 800 regulations is required. EXPERIENCE: Three
year's experience as a hospital pharmacist is preferred. RKMM About
