Job Title: Dental Assistants
Location: Albuquerque , NM 87120
Start Date: July 2025
Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday 40 hours per week

Qualification:

Education: Graduation from a dental assistant training school or proof of on-the-job training
Certification: BLS, ACLS
Experience: Minimum 2 year of experience as a Dental Assistant

Responsibilities:

Document patient care in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) per AAAHC and CMS standards
Restore teeth after preparation: place liners, pack, carve, and polish alloy/composite restorations
Fabricate, place, and cement temporary crowns, bridges, and stainless-steel crowns
Assist in endodontic procedures including medicament placement and temporary closures
Take impressions, pour and trim study models, fabricate custom trays and bite rims
Perform oral prophylaxis and apply fluoride treatments and pit and fissure sealants
Operate ultrasonic scalers and hand instruments to remove calculus
Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene techniques
Expose, process, and mount intraoral and extraoral radiographs
Maintain infection control: sterilize instruments, order supplies, and keep the clinic stocked
Apply/remove periodontal and surgical dressings and assist during surgical procedures
Take and record vital signs including blood pressure
Must maintain clinical privileges and adhere to policy and procedure standards
