The urology team provides a full range of services to diagnose and treat a variety of genitourinary problems such as: bladder cancer, prostate cancer, prostatitis, urinary retention and frequency, nocturia, kidney stones, renal failure, masses and growths, chronic UTI's and hematuria.The Advanced Practitioner will:Gather medical history and physical data on patientsPerform a complete physical exam, interpret and integrate patient data to determine appropriate diagnostic & therapeutic plans and procedures, and record findingsConsult with other caregivers to coordinate patient careOrder appropriate laboratory and diagnosticsAdminister injections, immunizations and oral medicationsProcedures performed include: catheter changes, urodynamics (UDS), percutaneous tibial nerve stimulation (PTNS).Prepare written prescription orders for drugs, controlled substances and advise patients regarding health and illness prevention.RequirementsRequirements: Current licensure as an NP or PA. Graduation from an accredited NP or PA training program and certified by an accredited certification agency; Current CPR Certification.2+ years experience preferred, but may consider new graduates.by Jobble
