to join our Breast Surgical Oncology team at Presbyterian
Healthcare Services in Albuquerque, NM. We're all about well-being,

- Collaborative team with 3 breast surgeons, 1 plastic surgeon, 2
APCs, and full clinic support staff
- Typical work schedule : Monday-Friday: Clinic Days 8AM -
4:30PM, OR Days 7AM - 3:30PM
- OR and Outpatient Clinic
- System-Wide EPIC EMR Responsibilities: Summary: Provide
advisory services to patients with oncology diseases requiring
surgical interventions. Services include obtaining pertinent
history, performing examinations, ordering and interpreting
appropriate laboratory tests and prescribing appropriate
medications and treatment per protocol. Will take 1st call with
physician back up and round on post-operative patients
Responsibilities: Evaluates and assesses patients for surgery and
post-operatively as directed by the supervising physician. Use
appropriate judgment to work autonomously and collaborate with the
healthcare team to manage patient care throughout the continuum in
a variety of settings, namely, Radiation Oncology, Medical
Oncology, Surgical Oncology and Radiology. Conducts hospital rounds
on assigned preoperative and post-operative patents. Dictates
specific notes as directed by supervising physician (e.g.
consultation notes, follow-up notes. Screens symptom calls and
treats as needed Serves as health care resources and patient
advocate and performs other functions as required. Credentials
Required: Physician Assistant - Baccalaureate prepared CAHEA
Certified Physician Assistant and licensed by the New Mexico Board
of Medical Examiners required. This Advanced Practice Clinician may
be called upon to assist in the operating room. Will also take 1st
call (with a physician back up) and do patient rounds most days
under the direction of the supervising physician Qualifications:
