Overview: Presbyterian is seeking an RN in Lactation and Support Services. You will provide expert care and support to breastfeeding mothers and their infants. You will educate and assist new mothers with breastfeeding techniques, address any challenges or concerns, and promote successful breastfeeding practices. Your role will involve collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and individualized care for each mother and baby.   • Associate Degree in Nursing
  • State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License
  • BLS certification REQUIRED at time of hire
  • ACLS
  • PALS
  • NRP Responsibilities:
    • Provide education and support to breastfeeding mothers and their infants.
    • Assist with breastfeeding techniques and address any challenges or concerns.
    • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
    • Develop and implement lactation education programs for patients and staff.
    • Monitor and document breastfeeding progress and outcomes.
    • Provide emotional support and reassurance to new mothers.
