qualified PCU RN in Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87106 Pay Information
$3,024 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job
Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour day shifts, including three weekend shifts in a
four-week scheduling period. Start time is 07:00 - 19:00. On-call,
weekends, and holidays may be required. Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours
per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years' current experience
required in an 18-plus bed telemetry/progressive care unit.
License: Active NM or compact license required. Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required. BLS and ACLS must be
completed through American Heart Association, American Health and
Safety, or American Red Cross. Must-Have: Previous completion of at
least one 13-week travel assignment. Must pass a Basic Cardiac
Arrhythmia/Dysrhythmia Assessment exam prior to or during the first
week of the assignment. Job Description: - Adhere to a 75-mile
straight-line radius rule for eligibility. No local travelers
accepted. - Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to a
fast-paced environment. - Candidates should not contact the
facility directly. - Time off requests must be disclosed initially
for approval; they will not be approved after acceptance. -
Submission requires two references, with one from the current
manager, a resume, and a completed skills checklist/competency
assessment. - EPIC EMR experience is preferred. - Orientation will
occur in the first week of the contract and includes EPIC training,
not exceeding 40 total hours. - RNs may wear any solid color
scrubs; the top, pants, and jacket (if worn) must match in color. -
Travelers are the first to float within the facility and to
alternate locations within 20 miles of their assigned location. -
No holiday time off requests will be approved for travelers. -
Candidates must not have been employees of the hiring health system
in the last 12 months to be considered. - State tax is passed to
