Responsibilities: Skills required: Excellent documentation and assessment skills. - Ability to mentor and train floor nirses on HNF documentation. Great communication skills. Attention to detail. NM Medicaid HNF experience is not required but would be a plus. - -Specific job duties:Nurse will document where neededNurse will follow up on daily nursing and templates are follow through -Nurse will provide training for the nurses with all shifts including weekendsNurse will provide follow up to documentation issues with Administrator -Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), the Licensed Practical Nurse delivers efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction. -*Evaluate patients/residents to collect data, observe condition and report changes in condition.*Contribute to nursing assessments and care planning.*Administer medications and performs treatments per physician orders.*Supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff. Qualifications: *Must be a graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing. *Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensed practical nurse licensure.*Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification if employed at a skilled nursing center or as required by the state of practice if an assisted living facility.
