  • Job Details
  • 75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) - NO LOCAL TRAVELERS
  • Candidates must be aware of their submission to our facility and should not contact the facility directly.
  • Candidates must have an active NM or compact license.
  • Time off requests must be disclosed with initial submission to be considered for approval.
  • Time off requested after the acceptance date will not be approved.
  • Include at least two references (one must be from current manager), a resume, and completed skills checklist/competency assessment.
  • 2 years experience current required in large OR. Ortho, ENT, and/or vascular experience a plus.
  • Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment.
  • Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.
    • Job Requirements
    • BLS required
    • PALS and ACLS preferred
    • BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.
    • EPIC EMR experience preferred.
    • Candidate must be able to scrub.
      • Schedule Information
      • 10 Days--Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs.
      • Weekends, on call, and holidays may be required.
      • Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location.

        • NO HOLIDAY RTO WILL BE APPROVED FOR TRAVELERS (updated 10.10.2024)
        • Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from last day worked, in order to be considered for a travel position.
        • State tax is passed through to your agency and will be reflected on your invoice.
        • The state tax should be paid to the state of New Mexico.
        • ENSURE AN ACCURATE SS# and DOB IS ENTERED. IF NOT, TRAVELER MAY BE PUSHED/AGENCY SUSPENDED (creates I.T. onboarding issues).
        • Cancellations/Fees: Please review page 13 of their contract regarding fees your agency could receive (for travelers cancelling without proper notice).
